Very good article. Agree -- the major point is responsibility of researchers for their actions. As an example -- origins of COVID. A lot of scientists rejected the lab theory just for political reasons. And what is a reaction of the scientists' community? Nothing
Fantastic article. The only nit I can pick is that things have gotten so bad in climate science, of which I am a practitioner, that vocal resistance to the bias loop and politicization earns one cancellation. I’ve been concerned about and (until recently) vocal about this since the early 1990s, to no discernible effect and at some cost. I finally gave up.
