I think he is referring to the recent pronouncement of the ACP decrying "gender affirming care". Unfortunately, most other medical and legal professional bodies are still all on board with this pseudoscientific nonsense.
I think the US organization of plastic surgeons just came out against gender affirming care for minors...this is a MAJOR step. So, we will see what happens.

Yeah, unfortunately it’s the American Academy of Pediatrics that’s more influential— and they seem to have drunk deep from the Kool-Aid.
