This is a nice essay. However, I might beg to differ with some aspects of it.

The author clearly is an adherent of "scientism", but I do not think he perceives the overlap, or potential overlap, between science and the anagogical. Many scientists do, however, in agreement with Einstein and Newton and Galileo, among others.
